The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the inspiration for the Communist Party of India (Marxist)- CPI(M). The party salutes leader Mao. It draws inspiration from him. Mao served as chairman of the CCP from 1943-1946 and is hailed as the founder of the People's Republic of China. Xi Jinping, current President of China is also from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Here in India, CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury is not attending the Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration ceremony, and his party X (former Twitter) account hails Mao and the CCP party.

What is this Ayodhya Ram Temple Inauguration? In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, a sacred temple for Lord Ram is under construction and is expected to be inaugurated on 22 January 2024. The Ram Temple Construction Committee met Sitaram Yechury, to formally invite him to the temple inauguration ceremony. Sitaram Yechury declined the invitation that the ruling government in India is politicizing the event. The ruling BJP party in India has the people's support with 290 elected representatives in Lok Sabha and 94 seats in Rajya Sabha.

The Indian constitution speaks about political tolerance, where it clearly mentions being tolerant towards other religions. The Ram Temple at Ayodhya is the Indian people's dream and the happy occasion is a time of national unity and tolerance. However, declining invitations speaks volumes about tolerance.

In China, President Xi Jinping's Party CCP is the only party that rules the country, and it is termed democratic rule by the CPI (M). India has 6 national parties, 55 state parties, and 2,597 unrecognized parties, and CPI (M) is one among them.

The people elect the government in India every five years, unlike in China, and the government in India has to serve the people. The governance differs in both countries, which we can't compare, but when people's aspirations, cultures and values are declined, and foreign values are honoured then it is treason.

If only during elections if leaders act as secular and remain intolerant otherwise, then people are wise to notice it.
