The world has been witnessing a bloody war between Hamas and Israel since October 7, 2023, and the tunnel is big news here. Nearly a month later on November 12, 2023, in India, the state of Uttarakhand Tunnel is also big news.
After all, why is Tunnel big news? Let me explain it to you.
From Gaza, Hamas, the terrorists killed over 1200 innocent Israeli citizens between 7th and 9th October 2023. They live in underground tunnels everywhere in Gaza. The tunnels are thousands of miles long, stretched across the length and breadth of Gaza. Using those shelters as bases, thousands of Hamas terrorists attack cities, towns, and villages in Israel with rockets and other ammunition.
In Gaza, these underground tunnels are meticulously built for bike riding, with amenities like washrooms, air conditioners, and rooms, which can shame a 5-star hotel, only built to kill innocent people and hide. We saw how they killed innocent Israelis. The revolution is a pseudo-name for terrorism.
They built tunnels at hospitals like Al-Shifa Hospital and near the children’s park in Gaza. This is akin to using Palestinians as human shields in case Israel retaliates their attacks.
In Uttarakhand, India, a tunnel is being built to connect various Hindu shrines/temples. On November 12, 2023, an untoward incident happened when this tunnel being built by hard-working workers from across India partly collapsed. Due to this 41 workers got trapped in the tunnel.
The entire stretch where 41 workers were trapped lost contact with the world.
There have been concerted efforts to bring them out safely. Food, water, medicines, counselling sessions, and daily interaction with their relatives are happening. The tunnel is drilled from different sides to evacuate them. Hopefully, they will be evacuated in a day or two.
These 2 contrasting stories are in Gaza and Uttarakhand where tunnels are used for terrorism, to kill innocent children, women, and the elderly and other side tunnels are used to build civilization, respectively.
They give us a clear message that any infrastructure that is in the hands of evil-minded people leads to the destruction of mankind. The poor Palestine people had to face a bloody war with Israel because of these Hamas terrorists.
There is good news coming in that there is a ceasefire for 4 days in a war-torn area and it bodes well to heal the wounds and the world to come together and take a strong resolve that they will never allow any infrastructure development for evil deeds. Never.
Hamas is one such dangerous example of evil that has grown in leaps and bounds because of the world’s lenient approach.
