The most powerful countries are the ones you always hear about in the news, the ones that leaders pay attention to, and the ones that affect how trade happens around the world. These countries show their power on the world stage. The ranking system was created by BAV Group, a part of the global marketing firm WPP, along with researchers led by Professor David Reibstein from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in partnership with US News & World Report. We try to present the Top 10 powerful countries in the world.
Here’s the latest ranking of the top 10 most powerful countries in 2024, according to the US News and World Report:

The USA is the strongest country economically and militarily worldwide. Its popular music, movies, and TV shows are known globally. The US has the biggest economy by GDP and leads in advanced technology.

China is the most populated country and the second-largest by land area. Since reforms began in 1978, it has become one of the fastest-growing economies. China excels in technology like AI and 5G, making it a global leader.

Russia uses its natural resources and strong military to influence global politics. It focuses on space exploration, including the Venera-D Venus lander mission.
