Leaving aside my Hindu faith for the time being, and reacting to the TCS Nashik case as an Indian, thinking about the gravity of the crimes allegedly committed by 7 employees practising the Islamic faith against the Indian native Hindu community, Hindu gods, goddesses, and Hindu women brings tears and shakes my hands. As an Indian, I am clueless: what crime have Hindu deities committed to face insulting remarks by employees of a different faith, including an Islamic woman? FIRs were filed by the police against them after a detailed investigation. Whereas Lenskart openly discriminated against Hindu men and women’s cultural practices for years, and later apologised.

What has corporate culture in India been reduced to? That is the first question that comes to mind. As told by victims, these attacks on their faith, gods, including sexual gestures, comments, and lewd remarks, have been happening for years, as per the police FIR. In the TCS Nashik case, in which court can Hindu gods Shiva, Goddess Parvathi, Krishna, and Brahma get justice? In the Lenskart episode, in which court can the insult to Hindu culture and tradition get justice?

Normalising objectionable comments on Hindu god Shiva, his linga form, Shivaling, across society has been a trend in India, the Hindu land. When politicians and actors say such things and get away with it, why can’t rabid, brainwashed employees get away with it? It is easy, and a non-Hindu female employee who is named in the FIR for making insulting remarks on Hindu deities in front of Hindus, along with her non-Hindu colleague, is now citing her pregnancy to avoid being questioned by the police.
When even law enforcement agencies can’t stop the likes of Rana Ayyub, Akbaruddin Owaisi, and Prakash Raj from making lewd comments on Hindu gods, how can we hope that ordinary Hindu Indians can get justice in this land?
The silent majority, who just go about their business, are the victims in this Hindu land, targeted by criminals. The pain is beyond words. Justice is uncertain.
As an Indian, it hurts, but this is not the dead end. Ensuring justice for Hindu Indians is in our hands, and we will ensure it happens in the TCS Nashik and Lenskart case.
For Justice to male and female gods of the Hindu religion, I am posting this article with Aradnareeshwara (Shiva and Parvati).
