Naidu's Impact on Andhra Pradesh

As Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, Naidu was pivotal in transforming Hyderabad into a modern, hi-tech city, earning him the moniker "CEO of Andhra Pradesh." He received several awards, including Business Person of the Year from the Economic Times. In 2014, he became the first Chief Minister of the newly formed state of Andhra Pradesh and served until 2019.

Pawan Kalyan's Political Journey

In 2019, after a five-year hiatus from electoral victories, Jana Sena chief and popular actor Pawan Kalyan, brother of Padma Bhushan Chiranjeevi, secured a seat in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly by winning the Pithapuram seat in the Kakinada district. This victory marks Pawan Kalyan's debut electoral success, anchoring his role as a significant political figure in Andhra Pradesh. His party also demonstrated strength by securing all 21 Assembly seats and both contested Lok Sabha seats.

Andhra Pradesh continues to grapple with its capital issue even a decade after bifurcation, owing to differences between ruling and opposition parties. Debates between Amaravati and Vizag have persisted without tangible development. People remain hopeful that the present government, with support from PM Modi, will establish a capital and successfully meet the aspirations of the people.
